What is a Catalina?

Have you ever noticed that little box next to the register at the grocery store that will print out coupons? The cashier will hand them to you with your receipt. Those are Catalinas. They a bonus at check out!
Now, not every store has Catalinas, But many will accept them because they are manufacturers coupons. Keep your eye out for them!

How do you get them to print?

Ex above. Buy $25 in Huggies products and a $7 Catalina will print!

There are certain items you purchase that will trigger a print.  Some stores publish or display this information and others keep it a secret.
A great place to find info on how to trigger a Catalina is Coupon Network.  They are run by the Catalina Company and actually share how to trigger certain promotions to print. The best way to use this service is to register with coupon network and give them your zip code.  They can then better tell you some of the deals in your area.

What if my Catalina didn’t Print?

If you know that the machine should have printed a catalina but didn’t you can still get it. Unfortunately the store can't help you. Just call up Catalina at 1-888-8COUPON or email them at coupon@catalinamarketing.com with the store name and address, date and time of purchase, what you bought, and transaction ID# from your receipt. Note that your transaction won’t be in their system until the next day.

I love Catalinas it's like a game trying to figure out the deals and how much more I will save at the register! The savings can really add up!
